Features and Applications
- Used in hot and cold cutting blades, pump shafts working in hot environment, packing sleeves, shaft bushings, connecting flanges, plastic extrusion presses, valve seats, turbulence and combustion chambers, equipment holding hot steels, temperature and wear.
- Resistant to all kinds of mechanical and chemical effects in a wide temperature range
- Hard surfacing of parts subjected to either the single or combained effect of heavy to metal wear abraison, high temparatures (ranging from 500 to 800°C occasionally up to 1100°C) and corrosive environments
- It has high resistance against impact, pressure, abrasion and corrosion, especially at high temperatures.
- It gives a weld metal with high friction resistance.
- Stainless electrodes such as ELOX 307 or ELOX 312 can be used as buffers.
