Features and Applications
- It is an austenitic electrode composed of low carbon alloy core wire and basic coated. It is used in all industries where similar alloy steels are welded, including high carbon steels such as 13% chrome ferritic steels.
- High ductility of the weld metal, therefore preferably used for welding heavy sections.
- Very good out of position weldability.
- Good low-temperature ductility down to -196°C.
- Resistant to intergranular corrosion up to 350°C.
- Weld metal does not require preheating or postweld heat treatement.
