Typical Base Material Grades
- Furnace, boilers, pipes made of Cr-Ni and Cr-Si-Al alloyed steels.

Features and Applications
- Electrodes of this composition are most often used to weld base metals of similar composition.
- Rutile coated alloyed-core wire electrode for similar heat resisting rolled steels.
- Used in annealing shops, hardening shops, steam boiler construction, the crude oil industry and the ceramic industry.
- When joints exposed to sulphurous gases the final layer has to be welded by ELOX B 327
- Weld metal has the scaling resistance up to +1200°C.
- The risk of embrittlement should be avoided at operating temperature 650-900 °C. Thick welds should be made with basic electrodes ELOX B 310.
- Re-drying: 120-200ºC / 2 h.
- Preheating and interpass temperatures for ferritic steels 200-300°C.
