Features and Applications
- Similar type austenitic stainless steels, dissimilar metals , buffer layers on mild and low-alloy steels prior ta build up or overlaying with any stainless steels electrode
- Joining of corrosion-resistant stainless steel with mild or low- alloy steels, clad steels
- The lower carbon content of the weld metal reduces the possibility of intergranular corrosion and increases the ferrite content. This in turn reduces the potential for solidification cracking when deposited onto carbon or low-alloy steels.
- Re-drying: 120-200ºC / 2 h.
